General Assembly Ile de France - 17/04/2013
The atmosphere was always warm despite the seriousness of the topics discussed. First of all, we had the pleasure to welcome three new members to the board:
Mrs. Anna Maria Pubill-Melsio (Ste Air Liquide), Sophie Barradas (Dassault) and Mr. Thibault Martin (Eramet A and D)
Then we have the main point of our meeting with the General Assembly of our section. We listened and approved the different activity reports, then we had to constitute a new board, because we have to deplore the resignation of some pillars of A3TS IDF, indeed :
Guy Bourdet, our president, is retiring (apparently to his home in Brittany!)
Jacky Lelièvre our treasurer
Bernard Quéval (vice president)
We have therefore constituted a new board because we must continue to keep alive what our predecessors have put in place, but we must admit that they have set the bar so high with their involvement and their knowledge that all our enthusiasm will not be too much.
Once again a big thank you to them!
A new board was elected unanimously.
President: Bernard Delmas; Vice President: Anna Maria Pubill-Melsio; Secretary-Treasurer: Yves Rousse; Assistant Secretary-Treasurer: Martin Thibault.
We will then talk about the technical day on February 8, 2013, which was a success in every way and all participants seem to have enjoyed it.
A new day is planned for Friday, February 7, 2014 whose theme could turn around "Surface hardening of metal alloys (micro treatment; nano layer)"; we are deepening the feasibility to realize it for our next meeting.
Finally, a last theme that is close to our hearts, a meeting is planned for April 25, 2013 with the management of the Lycée Diderot to improve the teaching/industry relationship by creating meeting days on industrial sites around technical subjects.
Finally, a last word to say that the training has made a good year 2012 animated in that very effectively by Claude Leroux.
I wish you all a busy 2013, "a little optimism can't hurt!"
