    Open to all students of heat treatment and surface treatment training courses, the A3TS photo contest gathered this year 19 entries on the theme of "materials processing as seen through the microscope".     Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for mechanical design projects from A to Z, i.e. from the kick-off meeting to delivery of the equipment, while certifying costs, deadlines and quality. You would like to be responsible for :

    • Analyze customer specifications and sales launch documents and, if necessary, alert sales staff to any anomalies;

    • Define mechanical design milestones in accordance with the design office schedule;

    • Design the CAD model of the furnaces based on the company's experience and, if necessary, propose new solutions to meet customer requirements;

    • Produce and distribute requested customer documentation (general drawings, PID diagrams, risk analysis, technical documentation);

    • Carry out the mechanical dimensioning (RDM and finite element method) of its projects and provide its expertise to the team;

    • Produce manufacturing drawings, enter and distribute purchasing/assembly bills of materials in our CAM system

    • Liaise with the Electrical Design Office, the Sales Department, the Purchasing Department and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements, in the best possible conditions for BMI.

    You have :

    Following on from the decarbonization initiatives undertaken within our largest production unit based in the Saint-Etienne region, we intend to pursue our investment in addressing current environmental issues on a Group-wide scale.

    At the interface between the various divisions that make up the Group's vertical integration model (R&D, production of processing consumables, design of production equipment, industrialization, production, etc.), in collaboration with the firm that has been working with us for the past 3 years on the subject of decarbonization, your work will focus on the following areas:

    • Carry out LCAs on the Group's processes, propose and monitor the related action plans

    • Infuse the LCA approach within teams and structure data collection to ensure the sustainability of this process within the Group.

    PROFILE

    Whether you're a materials/process engineer with a strong interest in environmental issues, or an LCA specialist with industrial experience, we can put in place the training process that will enable you to complete your skill set and thus meet the requirements of this position.

    First successful experience in LCA or eco-design (including internships and work-study programs)

    Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that production complies with the Group's best quality practices, and will act as the main contact for customers on quality issues:

    DAY-TO-DAY MANAGEMENT OF THE QUALITY SYSTEM

    With a degree (BAC+2 to BAC+5) in a technical field (mechanical engineering, automation, electrical engineering, etc.), you have at least 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position.

    Commercial experience is appreciated but not essential.

    Knowledge of technical English would be a plus.

    Your organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as your interest in the technical field, will be your main assets in successfully completing your assignments.
