MS03 - Evolution of anodizing technologies: theory and practice
Inter-company and intra-company courses
New
Educational objectives
To bring the necessary knowledge on the anodization treatments of aluminum alloys considered to replace chromic anodization, within the framework of the pressure exerted by the REACH regulation
Practical application of knowledge on an industrial line during the second day with the realization of treatments and characterization of the obtained layers
PROGRAM
1. Day 1
Reminders on the different types of aluminium alloys concerned and their treatment problems according to the applications
Surface preparation by degreasing, chemical and mechanical stripping
Principle of anodizing
Characteristics of chromic anodized coatings
Finishing treatments: staining, sealing, painting
Anodizing treatments intended to replace chromic anodizing: OAST, OAS, OAP
2. Day 2
Realization of a test piece with OAx anodization
