Residual stresses: internal stresses for external demands 2017 - SACLAY

More than 100 people (including 40% of non-A3TS members) attended the days organized by the section in the premises of SAFRAN TECH on the Saclay plateau (which we thank in passing), on February 2 and 3, 2017, on the theme "Residual Constraints - internal constraints for external solicitations".

This event addressed two major themes:

  • The impact of shaping operations (machining and forming) on the genesis of residual stresses.

  • Residual stresses induced by surface treatments (thermochemistry, induction) and those generated in oxide deposits or layers
