The major French and European industrial sectors (transport, energy, health, defense, etc.) have been strengthened by the Covid-19 crisis and its economic consequences. The treatment of materials, heat treatment and surface treatment, are essential levers to meet the technological challenges that are imposed on these industries. The A3TS has chosen to devote its 47th congress to the contributions expected from heat treatments and surface treatments to achieve the objectives sought: energy efficiency, health and hygiene, environment, competitiveness of the French and European industry of the future...
