Presentation of the day
What could be more common than using paint to protect a room, in a gesture as old as it is natural? But when it comes to preparing to take action, we are faced with many questions.
Depending on the specifications induced by the environment to which the parts will be exposed, the choice of paint (liquid, powder?), the parameters for preparing the substrate (including other surface treatments), the application method and any post-treatments are all questions that arise.
This day of conferences and exchanges will seek to offer a global vision of the possibilities of paint treatments for a good performance of complete systems, with conferences that will focus on processes as well as on controls and characterizations to meet the ever more stringent requirements of customers.
In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to visit the surface treatment facilities of the IRT M2P in Duppigheim, which has just been equipped with a fully automated and humidity-controlled paint booth, dedicated to R&D projects and services.
