This symposium covers all the topics from powder to solid parts to parts in service, both on the experimental and technological aspects as well as on the modeling aspects:
production and characterization of powders: synthesis methods (chemical, physical or mechanical), composite, nanometric or nanostructured, coated or functionalized powders, etc.
powder shaping: slip casting, dynamic compaction, cold isostatic compression, new lubricants, injection molding, additive manufacturing, etc.
manufacturing of parts: conventional sintering (natural, CIC, HP) or not (microwave, SPS, induction, etc.), rapid fusion (laser, electron beam, etc.)
microstructure-property relationships, applications, characterization of sintered materials and control of the environment related to the use of powders.
